The Better Kids Club would like to extend your organization our warm thanks and opportunity to help assist in our mission of change. We would like to take a minute to give you a snapshot of our approach to breaking the cycle of generational addiction.
Better Kids Club is a 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN 83-1104797) that helps the children of addicts and those who have suffered from issues related to addiction, neglect and abandonment. Our mission is to break the cycle of addiction. We believe that by working together we can give our kids a better chance of living a healthy productive life free from substance abuse and emotional entanglement.
Children whom have parents or family members that are addicts or alcoholics are much more likely to become addicts themselves without intervention. We at the Better Kid’s Club are working towards a solution. We want to team up with other people, agencies and parents in the community who are concerned and willing to work together to find out what the recovery process is for these children and young adults.
Our agency gets children and their parents together on a weekly basis to engage in healthy, educational and fun activities which foster the parent child relationship. Families that have suffered the effects of substance use in the family have experienced several unhealthy dynamics. We are here to help breathe new life into their past, expose them to a new way to live and also enjoy their newfound life.
